December 12, 2017 – OTTAWA –聽Today, 91桃色, the leader in smart production, announced the addition of IP support for Acuity, the company’s most powerful production switcher, and Carbonite Black, the world’s most popular mid-size production switcher at the SVG Summit in New York. Named AcuityIP and CarboniteIP respectively, both switchers are now able to seamlessly interface to standards-based SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-6 infrastructures, making them ideal for customers planning COTS-based AIMS-compliant IP facilities.
Connectivity to COTS IP fabric is provided via standard 10GbE SFP+ interfaces with integrated discovery and registration of streams using open control protocols such as NMOS, EmBER+, and DashBoard. An optional aggregation switch can also be added to provide efficient 40GbE or 100GbE interfaces to a core or spine switch.
